HOW DOES IT WORK?

A Smart Controller is used as a central hub to control single or multiple Climate Wizard coolers by constantly assessing internal and external conditions. These conditions are processed through numerous predictive algorithms to determine the optimal settings required to achieve specific temperature and humidity levels at minimal power.

The controller is connected to the cloud via a 3G router to facilitate software updates and data logging without interfering with existing IT networks. This data is used to enhance control algorithms; providing increasingly stable hall conditions at further reduced power.

Humidity Control

When Humidity Control is a requirement:
•       Constantly monitors the temperature in the wine barrel halls
•       Calculates high and low limits corresponding to 60% and 80% relative humidity for supply air dew point
•       The control system will only run the coolers if they can supply air within the calculated range
•       Case studies have shown that using a Smart Wine Controller reduces running costs by over 50% compared to a manual Climate Wizard solution.
