Significant contribution to a range of other charity and community organisations
Over the years, the Everglades Fund has made significant contributions to a range of other charities and community organisations, including the Leukaemia Foundation in Australia, the TLC Orphanage in South Africa, Batiri and Malomalo primary schools in Fiji, the Klong Toey Community Centre in Bangkok, Compassion Indonesia, Hmong refugee children in Vietnam, Silky Oaks Children’s Haven in Queensland and Samaritan’s Purse in Australia, China, Haiti and Mexico.

In 2018, the company Founder and Executive Chairman, Frank Seeley AM, DUniv Flin, FAICD, and his wife, Kathy were pleased to announce that the Seeley International Foundation will support a number of very worthy initiatives above and beyond our already significant charity and community support activity. Helping others is very much part of who we are and what we do. With the Seeley International Foundation in place we are even better placed to continue to help those less fortunate and improve the lives of people around the world.
This has seen recent donations made to:
Transform the Nations – to establish a second safe house in Dhulikhel, Nepal to support vulnerable or trafficked women and children in India, Nepal and elsewhere.
Australian Lutheran World Service – to construct water systems and classrooms to help educate child refugees in the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya, which is home to around 200,000 people.
Musica Viva Australia – funding music education at primary schools in Aldinga Beach and Elizabeth South in South Australia, and provide opportunity for young students to learn from some of the nation’s best educators.
Errington Special Education Centre – the upgrading of a purpose-built playground at the Plympton-based special needs centre, which provides a quality education to 110 students with varying degrees of physical, medical and intellectual disabilities.
World Vision Australia – Cambodia Youth Leadership Development Project to support 551 young people aged between 15 and 29 years of age, to gain vocational skills and training in financial, business and entrepreneurship skills over two years.
