Alsaeed HVAC won the Climate Control Middle East Awards with Mina City Cooling Project

Seeley International is proud to announce that Alsaeed HVAC has won the Climate Control Middle East awards.  The Jury has recognised this prestigious Editor’s choice prize as the biggest evaporative cooling project in the world.

Alsaeed HVAC is Seeley International’s official distributor for Saudi Arabia. They have installed around 50,000 Breezair evaporative coolers in Mina tent city (Saudi Arabia). The aim was to improve the well-being of pilgrims hosted in the tent city during their journey to Mecca.

The huge bulk order of Breezair evaporative air conditioners provides state-of-the-art cooling for Mecca Pilgrims. In fact, the tent city is a fascinating logistics exercise involving more than 100,000 tents. It accommodates approximately three million people over 20 square kilometres.

Above all, the Breezair evaporative air conditioner outperformed more than 200 other air conditioning brands. It delivered spectacular results against a set of criteria that included energy-efficiency, reliability, performance and low environmental impact.

The Climate Control Middle East awards took place on the evening of 27 November in the stunning scenery of Roda al Murooj Downtown Dubai, UAE. This award recognises HVACR and allied organisations and personalities that show a strong commitment to socio-economic development and sustainable development goals, which are applicable to the Middle East region, and are able to provide tangible evidence of their initiatives, best practices and exertions.
