When Jodie Morrison and husband Allan invested in a Braemar gas heating system for their Melbourne home, they knew they were choosing the best ducted gas heater on the market – but never thought this purchase decision would see their family embark on an all-expenses paid overseas trip of a lifetime.
The mother of two young boys says she was left speechless when told that she had won the Climate Masters of Seeley International Escape Winter Holiday valued at $8000, with a further $2000 in spending money.
“Our old heater started to pack up at the end of last winter and was working some days and not others, so when the colder weather arrived this year we knew it was time to get a new system installed to stay warm,” Jodie says.
“The heater playing up was really the final straw for us because it came on the back of having spent more than five months in hospital with our youngest son Ewan, who has been diagnosed with DiGeorge syndrome – a fairly rare disorder which affected his breathing,” she says.
“His treatment plan, along with recent operations, helped to improve his health and this opportunity to take our two boys on their first international holiday could not have come at a better time for us all.”
Jodie has just finalised travel plans which will see the family heading off to Bali in October, with plenty of rest and poolside relaxation planned during their 12-night stay at the popular getaway destination.
“This will be our first time going to Bali and the boys are already getting very excited about their first plane trip – and we are very appreciative of North West Airconditioning Keilor for supplying and installing our wonderful Braemar Ducted Gas Heater, and we also thank Seeley International for this amazing prize,” Jodie says.
