Seeley International appoints Shane Chisholm to key national role

Seeley International has announced the appointment of Mr Shane Chisholm to the newly-created role of General Manager, Australian Sales.

Seeley International founder and Executive Chairman, Mr Frank Seeley AM said Mr Chisholm’s comprehensive track record in leading a national sales team and instilling a strong customer service focus made him the perfect choice for this critical role.

“Shane joins Seeley International with a skillset that spans all key areas of senior management, and having recently completed the Senior Executive MBA program at the University of Melbourne means his operational experience is strengthened with the most up-to-date academic knowledge,” Mr Seeley said.

“To be a market leader you need to do a number of things well – you need to employ the very best people, have an unwavering commitment to developing innovative products, and use cost-effective automation without compromising on quality,” he said.

“You also have to offer a professional sales network of highly-trained individuals that are passionate about customer service and after-market support, and I am confident that Shane’s strategic leadership will support our dealer network and take us from strength to strength.”

Mr Chisholm was most recently the National General Manager of Procurement and Supply Chain for Elders Limited, where he led the design and delivery of a procurement system to effectively manage more than $1 billion of purchases annually.

Prior to that he was a Zone General Manager with Elders, where he managed about 1000 employees working in 100 branches across SA, VIC, NSW and Tasmania.

His leadership saw revenue increase while maintaining costs, despite the agriculture sector being a highly competitive environment and experiencing fluctuating commodity prices and seasonal conditions.

Mr Chisholm said he was excited to join the Seeley International team and help drive business growth objectives for a company with a global reputation for innovation, quality, reliability and safety.

“I am looking forward to meeting with people across the Australian dealer network and playing a role in educating customers about the unrivalled technology and energy efficiency benefits offered by Seeley International’s heating and cooling products when they make a purchase decision,” Mr Chisholm said.

“I am also keen to build on the success of the Climate Masters of Seeley International dealership program, which has created a team of accredited and highly-trained professionals that draw on extensive product expertise to make sure customers get exactly what they need each and every time,” he said.

Based in Adelaide, Mr Chisholm starts his new role on Tuesday 1 July.
