Leading edge hyper-efficient cooling

INDIRECT EVAPORATIVE TECHNOLOGY

Climate Wizard indirect evaporative air conditioners use a hyper-efficient counter-flow heat exchanger to produce 100% fresh, cool, outside air, with no added moisture. The fresh cold air produced by Climate Wizard can be similar to that produced by refrigerated systems, with temperatures that approach the ambient dew-point temperature.

It is for ideal for use as a DOAS (dedicated outdoor air system), data centre cooling or for comfort cooling applications.  Climate Wizard covers an exceptionally large range of flexible configurations in a wide range of industries.

Custom built Climate Wizard solutions capable of cooling a wide array of commercial and industrial spaces are available by request. Please contact us to discuss your unique system design requirements.

BENEFITS

Climate Wizard reduces the energy use and improves the cooling performance of existing refrigerated systems.  It can use up to 80%* less energy than an equivalent refrigerated system performing the same duty.

  • No high electrical demand charges even in hot weather
  • Reduce the energy use and improve the cooling performance of existing refrigerated systems
  • Total cooling performance increases when air temperature rises
  • Improved IAQ (indoor air quality) with 100% outside air
  • No synthetic refrigerants or chemicals to harm the environment
  • Can be retro-fitted to existing air conditioning systems

*Compared to refrigerated systems performing the same duty

WHAT IS INDIRECT EVAPORATIVE TECHNOLOGY?

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Climate Wizard is a simple, reliable solution to improve COP/EER (coefficient of performance/energy efficiency ratio).  Tested in our NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities) accredited laboratory# it offers:

  • Flexible design and engineering configurations
  • Features an Auto-CleanseTM water management system to minimise water consumption and to maintain quality
  • Easy access to spare parts and supported by a national service network

# Testing of the CW-80 units in the NATA accredited Meridian Test Laboratory is not possible due to their large and unique size.

Frequently Asked Questions

Indirect Evaporative Cooling FAQs

Seeley International indirect evaporative air conditioners make use of a patented counter-flow heat exchanger that separates the evaporative air from the air that is supplied to the conditioned space. The end result is supply air that has had no contact with water and is cooled below the ambient wet bulb temperature. Refer to the “How it Works” section clicking here.

No. The cooled supply air from the heat exchanger does not have any moisture added. Selected SupercoolTM models are available where specific applications have a target Relative Humidity and moisture can be added to meet a set point, based on customer requirements.

Yes. Climate Wizard comes in various product configurations to provide a total climate control solution. It is best that you speak with one of our sales engineers to get the technical support needed to optimise the design of your system requirements click here.

Seeley International has developed an online sizing tool for selecting the right amount of Climate Wizard units for cooling the nominated space. Go to: Tools > click here. Alternatively, you can speak to a sales engineer by clicking here.

A high supply water temperature does not have a marked effect on the supply temperature of Climate Wizard air conditioners.

Climate Wizard and Coolerado prices vary depending on the size of building, location and requirements. You need to speak with one of our sales engineers or an authorised Commercial contractor to get an accurate price for indirect evaporative air conditioning. You can contact one of our Commercial sales engineers by clicking here.
