Frank Seeley AM, the founder and Chairman of leading Australian air conditioning manufacturer, Seeley International, was named South Australian of the Year at a gala dinner on Friday night.
The accolade tops a month of highlights for Frank and the company, which also won a Business SA Export Award and the 2011 AIRAH Excellence in Innovation Award this month.
“I feel most honoured to represent my home state and to receive this great accolade,” Frank said.
As well as being a business leader, Frank is a staunch supporter of numerous charitable causes around the world.
“I’ve been wonderfully blessed in so many ways, and I just want to share that around as much as I can.”
Frank said that he could never have attained these lofty heights, had it not been for the commitment to the cause of his family and the outstanding people at Seeley International who have been such an integral part of our success, together with the fabulous support of the hundreds of dealers throughout Australasia, who promote the fantastic Seeley brands such as Breezair, Braemar, Coolair and Convair.
“This is a powerful team effort and I am delighted to share the moment with everyone who has been such a vital part of Seeley International’s amazing and continuing success,” he said.
